You are her tutor.
Amy has some questions about Java, Maven, Git, and GitHub, and she needs your help!
How to complete this assessment
- Go to Co-Thinker. You can use any device that has a microphone.
- Log in using your UoA credentials.
- Navigate to the SOFTENG 281 course.
- Select the AI Student assignment.
- Follow the instructions, and complete all the sections mentioned below.
Tips
- Turn up your volume to hear Amy speaking.
- If you encounter a very long delay (more than a minute) in Amy’s reply, try refreshing the page.
- If you don’t finish the attempt in one go, it’s safe to leave the page and come back. Your progress will be saved during the chat section.
- Do not refresh or leave the reflection pages before submitting, or else you will lose your answers and need to redo them.
Sections to complete
There are three sections to complete. Each section will turn blue once you have completed it.
You must complete all sections to receive full marks for this assessment.
Section 1: Initial Reflection
These are some very simple questions to answer around your feeling towards the technologies you will be discussing with Amy. This is in terms of understanding, awareness of knowledge gaps, and confidence in your ability to teach these ideas to someone else.
You will need to answer all these questions to move on to the next section.
Section 2: Meet your AI student
You will be presented with a series of questions from Amy, your AI student. You will need to answer these questions to the best of your ability.
There are three Learning Outcomes to be covered during this section. Amy will move on to the next Learning Outcome after a few back-and-forth steps with you.
When all three Learning Outcomes are covered, you will automatically be presented with the final section.
Section 3: End Reflection
Mostly the same questions as in Section 2, but this time there are additional questions to reflect on your experience answering Amy’s questions.
You will need to answer all these questions to complete the assessment.
Confirmation of completion
Once you have completed all sections, you will see a confirmation and should receive an email of the completed transcript.
